Manufacturing of 800 types of lubricants launched in Kazakhstan

The plant that will be producing over 800 different lubricants has been opened in Kazakhstan’s Almaty region, Trend reports with reference to the press office of PJSC LUKOIL.

The opening ceremony was held September 20, 2019 in presence of Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin and President of PJSC LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov.

The plant will produce more than 800 different lubricants, including LUKOIL GENESIS that features innovative molecular technology and is approved by the world major automobile makers.

The location of the facility makes it possible to optimize the logistics of LUKOIL's lubricants supplies in Kazakhstan and other countries of Central Asia.

The highest level of process automation allows for producing and shipping lubricants to the customer within 24 hours while the laboratory equipped to the latest standards guarantees the highest quality of products.

The project was implemented in strict compliance with the legislati​on of Kazakhstan and international health, safety and environment standards. The plant was designed and built having in mind the potentially high seismic activity at the site.

The lubricant plant will offer more than 200 jobs for citizens of Kazakhstan, including graduates of Kazakh universities.
