Project for support of agriculture development implemented in Uzbekistan

Cold storage room with the capacity of 1,000 tons has been put into operation in Uzbekistan’s Yukorichirchik district of Tashkent region, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan.
According to the decree of the president of Uzbekistan from May 22, 2017, the storage room has been constructed within the program on the support of agriculture development in Uzbekistan by usage of cold storage rooms via the grant funds worth $3.5 million allocated by the South Korean government.
The construction has been performed by companies of South Korea including KRC community corporation, DONG IL Engineering Consultants Co. Ltd., DAEYANG Co. Ltd., TSTI Co. Ltd., AJIN Co. Ltd., and JH Co. Ltd. Within the project implementation, managers and specialists of these companies arrived in Uzbekistan for knowledge exchange and for cooperation with Uzbek colleagues.
There are plans that this storage room will become an important factor in increase of efficiency of agriculture manufacturing.
