Since early 2019, KIA, Hyundai and Toyota cars have been the most popular in the automobile market of Azerbaijan, Director of the MBA Group consulting company Nusrat Ibrahimov told Trend.
According to the MBA Group director, during the reported period, these three car brands were the most preferred by buyers.
"Local cars are still not in great demand and popularity in Azerbaijan. For example, despite the reasonable price of Peugeot cars of local assembly at an average of 16,000 manats, they are not yet in high demand among the population," Ibrahimov said.
According to him, in this segment of the market in August 2019, the British-made Range Rover, worth over 400,000 manats, remains the most expensive.
"The cheapest is the Moskvich brand car worth 700 manats," he added.
The expert noted that since early 2019, the average price of cars in Azerbaijan amounted to 50,795 manats.
