The cost of one square meter of new housing in Kazakhstan amounted to 285,640 tenge (approximately $730) in September 2019, which is 0.4 percent more than in August and 4.4 percent more than in September 2018, Trend reports with reference to the data of the Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the cost of resale of comfortable housing equaled 197,299 tenge (approximately $504) per square meter, which is 0.3 percent more than last month and 5.5 percent more than in September 2018.
Furthermore, the cost of resale of non-comfortable housing stood at 123,315 tenge (approximately $315) per square meter in September, which is also 0.3 percent more than in August and 4.5 percent more than during the same period of last year.
Rent of one square meter of comfortable housing increased by 1 percent compared to last month and by 6.3 percent compared to September 2018 having reached the level of 1,470 tenge (approximately $3.7).
