Kazakhstan reaches important milestone regarding Saryarka pipeline

Welding of a linear part of Saryarka pipeline has been finished in Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the press office of KazStroyService.

Meanwhile, a solemn ceremony of finishing the "golden weld" of the Saryarka pipeline project (1,061th kilometer of the pipeline) was held on Oct. 9, 2019, near Nur-Sultan city. The welding of linear part of the pipeline was finished on September 29, 2019.

Saryarka pipeline starts from Beyneu-Bozoy-Shymkent pipeline. The main construction work is to be finished by the end of 2019 and the commissioning is planned for 2020.

The 1,061 kilometers long pipeline will provide 171 settlements with gas.

Kazakhstan’s Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC is participating in funding the project, KazStroyService JSC is the contractor of the project and Astana Gas is the operator.
