Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 11
By Fakhri Vakilov - Trend:
From January 1, 2020, Uzbekistan will establish the duty rate on imports of more than 300 types of goods, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
According to the decree of Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of October 2, these products include antiques, bicycles, live fish, seafood, pebbles, asbestos, metal cloth, cast glass, springs, copper wire and much more.
For their import it will be necessary to pay a fee in the amount of 5 percent of the value of the goods and above.
Since the beginning of the year, several hundred commodity items have established a zero rate of customs duty.
Within a few months it became known that not everyone liked it.
For example, in June, several companies asked to revise rates.
