Azerbaijan to increase production of water meters and gas pressure regulators

Azerbaijan’s Ganja instrument-making plant will increase production of water meters and gas pressure regulators, a source in the plant told Trend.

“The production of two types of products is planned to increase up to 10-12 percent,” the source added.

"The plant produced the products worth over 11 million manat from January through September 2019,” the source said. “At the same time, the total production of the plant increased up to 10 percent from early 2019 up till now compared to the period from January through September 2018."

“The plant intends to increase the export volumes of these types of products,” the source said.

"The supply of water meters and gas pressure regulators to Georgia and Russia is planned to be increased,” a source said. “The biggest demand for the products of our plant is observed in these countries."

Presently, the plant produces water meters, gas pressure regulators, gas control points, LED lamps, while water meters and gas control points are in the greatest demand.

Ganja instrument-making plant is one of the biggest plants in the region in the field of mechanical engineering. The plant develops and produces measuring instruments, automatic and automated control systems.

The activity of the plant is aimed at developing and increasing the level of instrumentation in Azerbaijan.
