Some 2.17 trillion rials (about $51.8 million) have been invested in the creation and development of production enterprises in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province since the beginning of the year (on March 21, 2019), Deputy Chairman of the Organization of Industry, Mines and Trade of West Azerbaijan province Masum Ali Akbari said.
The investments have been made for 120 enterprises, Akbari added, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
After the commissioning of the enterprises, 880 people will be provided with jobs, the deputy chairman said.
Akbari also said that the licenses have been issued for the establishment of 288 enterprises since the beginning of the year.
"Presently, 25 industrial parks operate in the West Azerbaijan province, in which 1,100 enterprises are operating," he said.
