Vollert, German engineering company, plans to build housing estates with high seismic resistance in Azerbaijan, head of the company’s subsidiary in Russia Sergey Lapyrev told Trend.

This includes construction of buildings with seismic resistance of up to 9 points, said the official.

“We already have some experience in this direction, which we also want to introduce in Azerbaijan,” Lapyrev noted. “We are in talks with Azerbaijani partners in this direction. Our proposal was accepted in Azerbaijan with interest, so there is a chance that next year we will be able to begin practical implementation of this project, after all the details and issues are discussed at the bilateral level.”

Lapyrev noted that the company plans to build residential facilities both in Baku and in the Azerbaijani regions.

Vollert is the leading partner for factories of reinforced concrete products and construction companies. The company also implements infrastructure projects, including bridge spans and soundproof partitions in cities.
