By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:
The joint Azerbaijani-Chinese venture Elektrogas LLC, producing combi heating systems, plans to export the combi heating systems in mid-March - April 2020, director of the company Elnur Jamilli told Trend.
“Three types of these heating systems are planned to be exported,” the director said.
"We consider Russia and Ukraine as potential importers, and we intend to export the heating systems to Central Asian countries,” Jamilli said. “By the end of this year, the total production volume will reach 3,000 combi boilers. Presently, the plant produces combi boilers with capacity from 24 to 52 kilowatts. It is planned to bring these figures to 100 kilowatts.”
The director noted that the plant’s products will be exported to foreign markets under the Made in Azerbaijan brand.
“Presently, the company produces six varieties of combi heating systems, three of which are intended for export,” Jamilli said. “The products of the plant are sold domestically at an affordable price, and the cost of one combi system is 450 manat ($263.6), with a two-year warranty period. Azerbaijani products are cheaper than analogues imported into Azerbaijan, for example, from China. The cost of the cheapest combi system imported from China is 550 manat ($322.2).”
The director noted that Azerbaijani products are designed to be used even at the lowest gas pressure.
Azerbaijani and Chinese investments in the amount of 2 million manat ($1.1 million) have been spent to establish the plant for the production of combi boilers.
The plant intends to increase the value of investments up to 11 million manat ($6.4 million) in the future.
($1= 1.7 manat on Nov. 6)
