Inflation in Iran’s production sector amounted to 49.4 percent this summer compared to last summer, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Statistical Center.
This is while prices for products and services by manufacturers increased by 49.9 percent this summer in Iran compared to spring, the report said.
Regarding annual inflation, by the end of summer, the producer price index has grown by 59.9 percent compared to the end of summer last year. At the same time, there was a 1.3-percent increase in inflation this summer compared to spring.
The lowest annual inflation has been observed in the electrical sector (-3.5 percent) and the highest in the industrial sector (77 percent) for the last several years in Iran.
