A new company will appear in Georgia’s aviation market, Trend reports citing Georgian media outlets.
Igor Aptsiauri, a former shareholder and commercial director of Georgian Myway Airlines, together with his colleagues formed the Aero Georgia group, which will work in several areas, but will still be closely connected with aviation.
According to him, the Georgian Aero Georgia Group will mainly concentrate on four areas - AeroConsulting, AeroTravel, AeroGSA and AeroProMan.
“I think that a lot of work remains to be done in the aviation sector of Georgia for the further development of the industry. As for the Aero Georgia Group, this is an aviation company whose main goal will be the further development of the aviation sector, both in Georgia and in the Caucasus region,” says Aptsiauri.
This will be a group that brings together several companies. The name Aero Georgia Group was specifically chosen, since all company names in the future will begin with the word Aero and become a brand.
According to Aptsiauri, one of the areas of the company is consulting services - AeroConsulting.
“We will consult aviation and transport companies. However, as our aviation experts, we will still focus on aviation. We will consult both the public and private sectors,” he said.
Another destination is tourism - AeroTravel.
“In the future, we will become one of the largest tour operators focused on both inbound and outbound tourism,” says Aptsiauri.
The third area will be the representative office of the airline - AeroGSA.
“Based on our contacts, we will try to interest new airlines and attract them to Georgia. In this case, our advantage is the team and its experience. While we are a small team, but after a certain stage we will grow significantly,” said Aptsiauri.
According to him, the fourth area will be Project Management - AeroProMan.
“We have some really interesting projects and ideas in this area, which we will soon begin to work on. Some of the projects are crucial for the development of the industry, and is also part of innovative ideas,” said Aptsiauri.
