The Azerbaijani manufacturer of meat and dairy products, SAB company, has developed new types of sausages for the domestic market, a source in the company told Trend.
In December, the company will supply several types of these products to the domestic market, according to the source.
“Two new types of sausages are planned to be supplied to the market by the end of December,” the source noted. “In total, five new types of halal products (food prepared according to Islamic law, free from pork, alcohol and certain other ingredients) have been developed since the beginning of this year.”
“The daily production volumes of new types of sausages are planned to be increased up to 500 kilograms,” the source said. “The retail prices for new types of sausages will range from 20 manat ($11.7) to 28 manat ($16.4) per kilogram.”
The company produces 60 types of meat and 50 types of dairy products under the SAB brand name.
The company’s production facilities are located in Azerbaijan’s Khirdalan city.
