Goychay Sud OJSC, a dairy and fruit juices producer in Azerbaijan’s Goychay district, plans to expand the varieties of cheese, a source in the company told Trend.
In the coming days the company will launch a new cheese production line, according to the source.
“This is the second production line, which will make it possible not only to increase the production of cheese, but also expand its varieties,” the source noted. “The new production line will allow increasing the production of Chanakh cheese at least 1.5-2 times, which is in great demand in the market. Earlier it was planned to launch a new line at the end of December, but the work is going ahead of schedule.”
Presently, three types of cheese are produced by the company, but after the launch of the new line this figure will double.
“Following the 11 months of this year, the company produced over 210 tons of cheese,” the source added. “Dairy products are sold in the domestic market, they fully cover the demand of the population in Goychay district, and are also delivered to Baku and other Azerbaijani cities.”
The company is operating at full capacity and is using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
The company's products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
