Azerbaijan's Ganja Instrumentation Factory to expand exports of industrial goods

Azerbaijan's Ganja Instrumentation Factory will expand exports of its products, a source in the company told Trend.

According to the source, the company will increase exports to Central Asian markets.

"Potential importer countries of the factory's products are Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. In view of the demand for the company's products, we plan to increase export capacities. Basically, it is planned to expand the export of water meters and gas control points, due to the greatest demand. Export deliveries are scheduled for January 2020. Negotiations are ongoing, details of upcoming deliveries are being discussed," the source said.

The source said that the factory's products have been exported to Georgia and Russia since early 2019.

"In the first 10 months of 2019, the factory manufactured products worth over 12 million manat [just over $7 million]. Compared with the figures of the same period in 2018, export deliveries in the current year increased by 12 percent," the source said.

The Ganja Instrumentation Factory produces water meters, gas pressure regulators, gas control points, LED lamps, while water meters and gas control points are in the greatest demand.

It is one of the biggest in the field of machine engineering in the region and is engaged in the development and production of measuring instruments, automatic and automated control systems.

The factory's activities are aimed at developing and raising the level of instrument-making in Azerbaijan.
