Iran discloses funds allocated for implementation of power, water projects in Gilan province

The power and water projects worth 4.6 trillion rials (approximately $109 million) have been implemented and the implementation of some of these projects was launched in Iran’s northern Gilan province, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Ministry of Energy.

“Three water projects worth 1.4 trillion rials (about $34.5 million) were implemented while the implementation of the projects worth 3.1 trillion rials (about $75 million) was launched,” the ministry said.

“Somee-Sarah power station worth 1.1 trillion rials (about $28.4 million) was commissioned,” the ministry said. “The foundation of the power station worth 1.8 trillion rials (about $45 million) was laid.”

“The foundation of a 24-megawatt small power plant was laid at the Hasanrud Industrial Park and $1.1 trillion (about $26.1 million) will be spent for this project,” the ministry added.

Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian attended the ceremonies dedicated to the implementation of the projects.
