Iran discloses number of licenses issued for projects in Mazandaran province

The licenses were issued for 589 projects in Iran’s northern Mazandaran province during nine months (from March 21 through December 21, 2019) of this Iranian year, Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the province Huseyngulu Qovanlu said.

“The investments worth 38.8 trillion rials (about $925 million) are expected to be made in these projects,” the chairman added, Trend reports referring to the organization’s website.

“More than 10,000 people will be employed after the implementation of these projects,” Qovanlu added.

“The projects mainly relate to production of medical equipment and surgical instruments, equipment for mining coal and waste recycling, equipment for agriculture sector and clothing industry,” the chairman said.

Some 137 projects worth 10 trillion rials (about $238 million) were implemented in Mazandaran province during nine months. There are more than 3,000 industrial facilities in the province.
