Uzbekistan’s car production increased by 22.86 percent from January through December 2019, compared to the same period in 2018, Trend reports citing of Uzbekistan's State Statistics Committee .
Uzbekistan produced more than 271,110 cars from January through December 2019.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, the production of trucks increased by 25.56 percent in the reporting period - up to 5,320 vehicles.
In the automotive industry, from January through December 2019, 73,151 Nexia cars were produced (growth rate is at 23.3 percent compared to the same period of 2018), 56,211 Cobalt vehicles (+ 49.4 percent), 51,824 - Damas (+ 49.7 percent), 44,508 - Gentra (+ 33.6 percent), 24,249 - Spark (-16.6 percent), 7,930 - Tracker, 7,288 - Labo (-1.3 percent) and 5,944 - Malibu (-10.3 percent).
Production of car engines in Uzbekistan from January through December 2019 reached 200,600. The growth rate, compared to January through December 2018, is at 26.4 percent.
