Turkey increases export of grain, legumes to Iran

Exports from Turkey of cereals and legumes to Iran increased by 40.5 percent in 2019 and amounted to $147.9 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend on Jan. 27.

In December 2019, Turkey’s export of cereals and legumes to Iran dropped by 6.78 percent compared to December 2018 and amounted to $7.8 million.

In 2019, Turkey’s export of grains and legumes increased by 1.6 percent, amounting to $6.7 billion.

In December 2019, the export of grain and legumes from Turkey increased by 5.9 percent and amounted to $628.8 million.
