Turkey slightly reduces grain & legumes exports to Georgia

Exports of grain and legumes from Turkey to Georgia decreased by 3.7 percent in 2019 compared with the results of 2018 and amounted to $32.1 million, a source in the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Jan. 31.

The export of grain and legumes from Turkey to Georgia in December 2019 also decreased by 12.5 percent compared to the same month in 2018 and amounted to $2.7 million.

Last year, Turkey exported grain and legumes worth $6.7 billion, which is 1.6 percent more than in 2018.

Last December, the export of grain and legumes from Turkey increased by 5.9 percent compared to the same month of 2018 and amounted to $628.8 million.
