Agricultural projects commissioned in Iran's Qazvin province

Two agricultural projects have been commissioned in the Abyek county of Iran's Qazvin province, Trend reports with reference to the Iranian Agricultural Jihad Ministry.

The event dedicated to the commissioning of the projects was attended by the acting Agriculture Minister of Iran Abbas Keshavarz and the province's officials.

As part of the first project, a greenhouse with French equipment has been set up on the area of one hectare. Annually, 1.7 flowers can be grown at the greenhouse.

Over 137 billion rials (over $3.2 million) have been spent on the greenhouse's establishment and 40 billion rials (roughly $952,000) of this amount were provided by bank loans.

The greenhouse has provided 15 people with jobs.

As the second project, a 30,000-ton grain storage facility has been commissioned in Abyek.

The storage facility is constructed on an area of 25,000 square meters.

Over 80 billion rials (roughly $1.9 million) have been spent on the facility's construction and 20 billion rials (roughly $476,000) of this amount have been provided by bank loans.

The storage facility has employed 29 people.
