Azerbaijan’s Jalilabad-2 winery discloses dates of launching new wine lines

Jalilabad-2, a large Azerbaijani winery located in Jalilabad District, has determined the dates of launching a new wine production line in 2020, a source of the winery told Trend.

The development of a new wine line will be completed at the end of March.

Along with the wine line, it is also planned to develop a new line for the production of cognac products. It will be completed by the end of April or early May 2020. At the moment, work in this direction has already begun, the source said.

"The winery expects to increase daily production volumes. To this date, this volume is amounted to 20,000 bottles of wine and about 10,000 bottles of cognac. Herein, it is planned to increase production by 25-30 percent by the end of the year," the source added.

In the meantime, the winery is increasing the export of alcoholic beverages, and plans to export alcohol to Russia and other CIS countries.

In 2019, the company produced over 170,000 decaliters of wine, which is 17 percent more compared to 2018. Over 40 percent of the products were exported outside the country.

The products of the Jalilabad-2 winery have a Certificate of Conformity issued by Azerbaijan’s State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

The winery uses Italian and Bulgarian equipment.
