Azerbaijan's Ganja Instrumentation Factory to increase production, exports by late 2020

Ganja Instrumentation Factory, a large industrial enterprise in Azerbaijan, plans to increase production capacity and exports by the end of 2020, as well as to launch a new production line, a source at the company told Trend.
According to the source, the company plans to increase production gradually.
"By the end of 2020, the factory will increase production by up to 15-20 percent, particularly the manufacture of LED lamps, as well as water meters. In parallel, it is planned to expand the list of export destinations, particularly by doing business with new partners in Russia and the countries of Central Asia," the source said.
"Moreover, it is planned to launch the production of a new type of ball valves for domestic use. We plan to introduce new products in March - April 2020. At the first stage, it is planned to produce 50,000 ball valves, and in the future this figure will grow up to 70,000 pieces per month. The products will be sold domestically and partially exported," the source said.
"It is also planned to launch the production of LED lamps with silicone lenses in the second half of 2020. This is a completely new product, to be manufactured in Azerbaijan for the first time. The products will be sold domestically and subsequently exported abroad. Currently, the development of a new model of this product is fully completed," the source added.
Ganja Instrumentation Factory is one of the largest Azerbaijani enterprises in the field of instrument making, engaged in the development and production of measuring instruments, automatic and automated control systems.
The factory's activity is aimed at developing and raising the level of instrument making in Azerbaijan and creating modern, high-quality water meters, gas pressure regulators and other measuring instruments that are in demand in the market within the country and abroad.
The factory is located on the territory covering more than five hectares. The production area is 6,000 square meters.
Some 170 people work at the factory.
