Product exports increase via Iran's Parvizkhan customs

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21

Products exports increased by 18 percent in terms of value via Parvizkhan customs of Kermanshah province in western Iran in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 20-April 19, 2020) compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, said governor of Qasr-e Shirin County of Kermanshah Province Moradali Tatar, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to Tatar, a total $117 million worth of products were exported to Iraq through this border customs checkpoint in a month.

Tatar added that 292,000 tons of products were exported through the Parvizkhan border customs last month and exports increased by 38 percent in terms of weight.

The official said that the exported products were mainly cement, biscuits, water conditioners, watermelon, dairy products, construction materials, fruits and vegetables.

"Currently, products are exported to Iraq with 800-1,000 trucks via Parvizkhan border customs per day," he said.

There are two border customs with Iraq, Parvizkhan and Khosravi, in the Qasr-e Shirin border county of Iran's Kermanshah province.
