Production of tablets, laptops and desktop computers for schools will be launched in Turkmenistan at the Agzybirlik Tilsimaty company, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave relevant order to Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylydjov at a government meeting, which was held recently via a videoconference.
Computers will be presented to the pupils of primary schools on behalf of the president of Turkmenistan.
The Agzybirlik Tilsimaty enterprise of the Computer Technology Center of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan is already preparing to produce the required number of computers for the new school year.
As reported, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree according to which, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is entitled to conclude a contract with the Agzybirlik Tilsimaty company for the purchase of 159,374 computers manufactured in Turkmenistan, their maintenance and installation in educational institutions until August 25, 2020.
Earlier, the head of state highlighted the growing role of the enterprise in the sphere of import substitution and increasing the export potential of Turkmenistan. He also stressed the importance of projects that are being implemented in the field of digitalization.
