New warehouses with refrigerators for agricultural products will be built in Turkmenistan’s Dashoguz region, Trend reports with reference to “Zolotoy Vek” (Golden Age) newspaper.
Members of the Union of Industries and Entrepreneurs will put into operation two new warehouses.
Entrepreneur Sarybay Khanbayev will be allocated with 1.6 hectares of land for the construction of one of the warehouses. For now, work is underway to provide the facility with the necessary products. This warehouse is designed to store 350 tons of fruit and vegetables.
The second one will be built in the same region by the Isgar company. This warehouse will be one of the largest warehouses in this region, as well as the one that was built there several years earlier.
For construction of the second warehouse, 3 hectares of land have been allocated. The warehouse is designed to store some 8,000 tons of agricultural products.
The new refrigerator warehouses will be supplied with special equipment. The necessity to build additional warehouses comes due to the growth of products in this region. For example, this year the region has increased the area for growing potatoes and onions.
