Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) in January-April 2020 exceeded the corresponding figure of 2019, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
From January through April 2020, the country's nominal GDP amounted to 22.4 billion manat ($13.1 billion), which is 0.2 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
According to the committee, GDP in the country’s non-oil sector amounted to 14.5 billion manat ($8.5 billion) over the reporting period, which is 0.8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
During the reporting period, GDP per capita amounted to over 2.2 million manat ($1.3 million), showing a decrease of 0.7 percent on an annualized basis.
