Spanish agricultural company ready to invest in Uzbekistan's horticultural sector

Spanish agricultural company Viveros Veron is ready to implement investment projects in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent province in the next few years, Trend reports citing Dunyo News Agency.

Representatives of the Agency for Development of Horticulture and Greenhouse Services under the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and the Agency for Implementation of Projects in the field of agro-industrial complex held a joint webinar with the management of the Viveros Veron company.

The event was also attended by Spanish specialists in the field of agriculture.

It was noted that Viveros Veron is successfully introducing various advanced anti-freeze technologies, such as ventilation (mixing air to increase the temperature in the corresponding area of the garden), smoke creation (the effect of a "cloud" with a concentration of warm air in the lower layers), surface spray with water (this method works on the principle that each gram of iced water gives 80 kilocalories while melting) and others.

The Spanish side confirmed that these technologies can be used in the implementation of investment projects on the introduction of intensive horticulture and the construction of a fruit tree nursery, which are planned to be implemented by the company in Tashkent province in 2020-2021.

Viveros Veron is agricultural company located in Calatayud (Zaragoza, Spain) dedicated to the production of fruit trees and plants for gardening. Company has two offices in Zaragoza and one in Navarra (Spain) as well as one office in Baku (Azerbaijan).
