There is a very favorable environment for doing business in Georgia, French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Kolas said, Trend reports citing Georgian media.
Diego Kolas together with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnova visited the enterprises of the Kutaisi Free Industrial Zone in Georgia. One of those companies is Atlantic Georgia, a subsidiary of the French Groupe Atlantic, which produces water heaters.
According to the ambassador, the company has very good prospects.
“I think that it is very important for France to be among the friends and partners of Georgia in the process of economic recovery. There is a very favorable environment for doing business here in Georgia. We have a good dialogue with the government for resuming the cooperation as soon as possible, as well as for expansion and growth. Atlantic Georgia has recently announced expansion of its operations. So this company has very good prospects. We believe that a strong relationship has been established between France and Georgia to continue to develop together and overcome economic difficulties,” said Kolas.
At the same time, ambassador pointed out that France supports the inflow of investments and creation of jobs, as well as the restoration of the economy in Georgia.
