Trend:

An Azerbaijani-Chinese joint venture (JV) engaged in manufacturing the combi boilers, has defined the route and time period for exporting heating equipment abroad, Director of the enterprise Elnur Jamilli told Trend.

The company will begin exporting its products this autumn.

"We're planning to start exporting combi boilers in October of 2020, to Georgia, Ukraine, China. These countries are potential buyers,” said Jamilli.

“Earlier, heating equipment from Turkey was supplied to the Azerbaijani market. It is expected that local manufacturing will cover the demand of the population as much as possible and thereby significantly reduce the volume of imports from Turkey,” he noted.

“Moreover, domestic products along with high quality are also much cheaper. For example, imported products from Turkey are sold within the market for 320 manat ($188.2), while the enterprise’ products will be sold for 150 manat ($88.2),” said Jamilli.

He said it is planned to manufacture 30,000-35,000 combi boilers annually.

"The plant plans to further increase the production level to 100,000 boilers per year," Jamilli said.

The production capacity of the plant, which is a joint Azerbaijani-Chinese enterprise and owned by the Elektrogas LLC, is 120,000 units per year.

At present, the plant employs 30 people, and it is planned to open approximately 200 more jobs in the future.

Elektrogas LLC is located in Baku’s Zabrat settlement.
