National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) sold products worth 29.8 trillion rials (about $710 million) during the third month of the current Iranian year (May 21-June 20, 2020), Managing Director of the company Ardashir Sad Mohammadi said, Trend reports referring to the company’s website.
According to Mohammadi, thus, value of sales of the NICICO in the first three months of current Iranian year (March 20 - June 20, 2020) reached 64.1 trillion rials (about $1.52 billion).
Mohammadi added that the value of company’s sales increased by 26 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
"The value of sales increased by about 13.1 trillion rials (about $312 million) in the first three months compared to the same period last Iranian year," he said.
Mohammadi emphasized that also, 9 tons of cathode copper and 30 tons of molybdenum sulfur were sold at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) in the last days of third month of the current year. However, as the products were not loaded, therefore they were not mentioned in the statistics for the 3rd month.
