Iran declares volume of loaded, unloaded cargo at its small ports

A total of 147,600 tons of products were loaded and unloaded at the Jask, Chark, Tiyab ports of Hormozgan Province, Chavibdeh, Arvandkenar ports of Khuzestan Province, Genaveh, Dayyer ports of Bushehr Province and Astara port of Gilan Province during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).

According to the report, 100,800 tons of products were loaded and 37,700 tons were unloaded at these ports in 3 months.

During this period, 6,960 tons of products were exported through the Jask port, the report said.

“About 52 tons of products were exported through the Chavibdeh port and 40 tons through the Arvandkenar port,” the report added.

More than 591 tons of products were imported through the Genaveh port. About 1,350 tons of products were loaded and 1,050tons were unloaded at the port for cabotage. Also, 943 tons of products were loaded for transshipment, according to the report.

“As many as 6,510 tons of products were imported through the Chark port. More than 40,600 tons of products were loaded and 95 tons were unloaded at the port for cabotage,” the report noted.

During the 3 months, 750 tons of products were imported through the Tiyab port. Some 8 tons of products were loaded for cabotage in this port.

According to the report, 11,400 tons of products were exported and 11,700 tons of products were imported through the Astara port.

About 32,800 tons of products were exported via the Dayyer port, report said.

In total, 5.45 million tons of products were loaded and 4.2 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports.

About 4.29 million tons of products were exported through Iranian ports in three months. During this period, 2.27 million tons of products were imported through Iranian ports.
