The number of companies operating in Kazakhstan with Singapore’s capital amounted to 146 companies as of Jun.1, 2020, which is 10 companies more than as of Jan. 1, 2020 (136 companies), Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
Of 146 companies registered, 115 proved to be active, which also is 13 companies more than as of Jan. 1, 2020 (102). Furthermore, of 146 companies registered in Kazakhstan (135 small, 6 medium, and 5 large).
The majority of the companies with Singapore’s capital (31 companies) operate in Kazakhstan’s wholesale and retail trade sector, as well as in vehicles repair.
The next greatest number of companies (15) with Singapore’s capital operates in Kazakhstan’s professional, scientific and technical activity. The third place accounts for 13 Singapore companies operating in finance and insurance sector of Kazakhstan.
In turn, the least number of companies with Singapore capital operates in the water supply sector; collection, processing and removal of waste, liquidation activities, and in healthcare and social services - one company each.
Furthermore, no companies with Singapore’s capital operate in Kazakhstan’s compulsory social security; in art, entertainment and leisure; as well as in activities of extraterritorial organizations and bodies.
