TEHRAN, Iran, July 3

Trend:

Iranian government has approved a bill to resolve the problems of productive units that have to pay debts to the Social Security Organization, said an official in the Headquarters for Facilitation and Elimination of Production Barriers.

"The productive units will be encouraged to avoid downsizing staff and their social losses caused by financial problems," said Meysam Zali, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The Social Security Organization and related offices in all provinces will work to manage the process of debt payment to reduce pressure on these units. Thus, the productive units will pay their debts in 60 installments," Zali added.

"In order to receive the payment, the Social Security Organization will not seize the assets and property, cut bank advances or close the bank account of productive units in case they are late in their payment," he said.

"The employers of the productive units have to determine the process of their debt payment to Social Security Organization," he noted.

"The Acting Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade has ordered the remove of obstacles that effect production. The organization is to announce more related information about improving production in other sectors every two weeks," he added.

The Coronavirus spread in Iran has led to closure of many productive units and unemployment , the government has recently started to pay supportive package to financially help these units.
