Wine museum will open in Georgia's Mtskheta region with financial support from Bank of Georgia, Trend reports citing Georgian media.

The project is implemented by Georgian Royal Marani company. The company plans to build the complex, which also involves 42-room premium segment hotel, restaurant, and wine factory.

"We are glad that the foundation of a very interesting complex was implemented with our participation. The project is attractive in that it will offer a wine museum, hotel, and restaurant to its guests and visitors. Tourists will be able to taste the wine produced in the winery of the company and have a great time with their family members and friends. We want to wish success to our partner," said Director of Corporate Banking Department of Bank of Georgia Zurab Kokosadze.

The project is scheduled to be completed in late 2021. At this stage, 30 people are employed, and after the opening of the complex, their number will increase to 100.

The total price of the investment is 17 million lari ($5.5 million). The investment of the bank stands at 7.4 million lari ($2.4 million).
