Iran reveals value of exports via Hamadan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 9

More than 166,000 tons of products worth $30.07 million were exported through the customs of Hamadan Province (western Iran) during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 20-June 20, 2020), Director General Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s (IRICA) branch in Hamadan Province Morteza Najafi said, Trend reports citing the Industry, Mines and Trade Organization of Hamadan province’s website.

The official stressed that the product export decreased by 6 percent in terms of weight and 1 percent in terms of value.

He added that the products worth $16 million were exported through the province's customs in the third month (May 21-June 20).

"As many as 59 types of products were exported through the regional customs, including raisins, ferrosilicon, clinker, water conditioner engine, acids, cement, aluminum containers, refrigerators and other products," he said.

Najafi said that as for the main exported products, worth of $13 million industrial products, worth of $7 million agricultural products and worth of$3.3 million mining products were exported.

The director general noted that the products were mainly exported to Iraq, China, Pakistan, the UAE, Russia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Germany and other countries.
