Russia was the main exporter of fruits to Turkmenistan from January through May 2020, Trend reports, citing the Eurasian Economic Commission’s statistics.
The total volume of grapes exported to Turkmenistan from Russia is 3,155 kilograms for a total amount of $2,256.
In addition, the total volume of various fresh fruits exported to Turkmenistan from Russia is 5,180 kilograms for a total amount of $1,720.
According to statistics, in addition to fresh fruit, Russia exported 9,944 kilograms of dried fruits, for a total amount of $14,360 to Turkmenistan.
During the same period, 203,063 kilograms of apples, pears and quinces were exported to Turkmenistan not only from Russia, but also from Kazakhstan for a total amount of $62,117.
Kazakhstan's share of the total amount of exported apples, pears and quinces to Turkmenistan was $15,405, while Russia's share was $46,711.
The Eurasian Economic Commission report said Russia also exported 35 cattle livestock to Turkmenistan for the amount of $49,980 from January through May 2020.
In addition to cattle livestock, Russia exported 550 sheep and goats worth $46,000 in the reporting period.
