Ten metro stations in Georgia's capital Tbilisi will be renovated with the financial support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Trend reports citing Georgian media.
The stations to be renovated are Guramishvili, Station Square, Sarajishvili, Marjanishvili, Freedom Square, 300 Aragveli, Rustaveli, Isani, Tsereteli and Nadzaladevi, the report said.
According to Kaladze, 75 million euros will be invested in modernization of Tbilisi metro.
He added that a tender for the project will be announced by the end of 2020.
Currently, Gotsiridze metro station is being renovated, while renovation of Varketili and Avlabari stations will start soon, Kaladze noted.
