Iran’s Pars Special Economic Energy Zone reveals details of exports

More than 7.5 million tons of goods worth $1.81 billion were exported from the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) in the Asaluyeh county of Bushehr Province (southern Iran), head of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Customs Office Amir Abbas Hamidi said, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s official website.

Hamidi said that the exported products during this period were mainly methanol, propane, butane, light and heavy polyethylene, gas condensate, ammonia, sulfur, styrene, crude oil, etc.

“These products are mainly exported to Pakistan, China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Turkey, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, and other countries,” he added.

The official noted that the cargo transportation in the form of cabotage has increased over the past 5 months, equaling 2.88 million tons of cargo worth $1.16 billion.

"Over the past five months, 27,300 tons of products worth $269 million were imported for the improvement of refineries," he said.
