Activity of Iran's Bandar Lengeh port announced

A total of 77,000 tons of cargo was loaded and unloaded in the Bandar Lengeh port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22-August 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).

According to the report, 62,100 tons of goods were loaded and 14,700 tons were unloaded at the port in the 5th month.

“About 61,400 tons of goods were exported and 3,750 tons of goods were imported through Bandar Lengeh port during this period, the report said.

In the 5th month, 10,400 tons of goods were unloaded for transit via the Bandar Lengeh port.

According to the report, 777 tons of goods were loaded and 558 tons were unloaded for cabotage during the reporting month.

“About 43,200 tons of essential products, 2 tons of metal products, 20,300 tons of construction and mining materials, 12,000 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 267 tons of chemicals were loaded and unloaded at the port in the 5th month.

In addition, 965 tons of leather, clothing, fiber, wood and other similar goods, 12 tons of other goods and 28 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded over the fifth month.

In total, 5.93 million tons of goods were loaded and 4.08 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports in the 5th month.
