Iran`s Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter to implement construction project in East Azerbaijan

The managing director of the Ashura Institute (a subsidiary of Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter) said that the institute is currently implementing development projects of more than $2.3 billion in East Azerbaijan province.
"In recent years, the Ashura Institute operated many projects in the field of roads, subways, water, and power industry, and mining in the northwestern region of the country especially East Azerbaijan province,” managing director of the Ashura Institute (a subsidiary of Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter) Zeinolabedin Reyhani said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He mentioned the Institute participated in the implementation of the Tabriz city railway project worth $476 million as one of these important projects.
“In addition to the mentioned national project, the Ashura Institute of the Khatam al-Anbia also constructed the Maragheh-Hashtrood freeway project and the waste management plant in Tabriz Municipality,” he added.
Reyhani added that one of the most important achievements of Khatam Al-Anbia is the water and dam construction projects throughout the country.
“The headquarters is working on several projects including irrigation canals, drainage, transmission lines, and dam construction projects,” said Reyhani.
"Sahand Dam in Hashtrood city, Ay-Doghmush dam in Miyaneh city, Shahid Kalantari dam in Marand city, Nahand dam in Tabriz, and Kalqan Chai dam in Bostan Abad were all built by Ashura Institute of Khatam Al-Anbia," he stated.
Referring to the Kalqan Chai Dam he says that this is one of the largest dams in the northwestern region of the country.
“The reserve capacity of this dam is 22 million cubic meters, which can be increased to 24 million cubic meters.”
According to IRNA, the "Kalqan Chai" reservoir dam in Bostan-Abad, one of the projects of the Khatam al-Anbiya construction headquarter, inaugurated today on Thursday in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani through video conference.
