Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister said, to achieve the top rank in the banking system, we do not need to increase the number of branches, but we must increase the type of services.
"Achieving the top ranking in the banking system in a competitive world requires effort, commitment and self-sacrifice," Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Farhad Dejpasand said, Trend reports citing YJC.
He went on to say that a bank that wants a reputable name should move towards the digitalization of its services.
"The capital market has been prepared a golden opportunity for banks to transfer surplus assets and property in recent years," he said.
Dejpasand expressed hope that the capital market and stock exchange will be kept away from political interference.
"The transfer of surplus property, in cooperation with to the capital market as well as universities and knowledge-based companies can improve the bank's ranking," he said.
