Turkmenistan increases export of men's textile clothing to EAEU countries

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21

Turkmenistan increased the export of men's textile clothing to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) by 4.6 times in 1H2020, Trend reports with reference to the Eurasian Economic Commission.

During the reporting period, 141,723 pieces of textile clothing were exported from Turkmenistan to Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, totaling $884,674, which is also 5.9 times more than the export of textile clothing from Turkmenistan to Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia for 1H2019.

Also, during the same period, 74,178 pieces of women's textile clothing were exported from Turkmenistan to Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, for a total amount of $576,458.

In addition, during this period, 1,432 tons of children's textile clothing were exported from Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan, totaling $2,298.

As reported, that from January through May 2020, Turkmenistan also increased the export of clothing to the EAEU countries.

Turkmenistan increased the export of clothing items to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) from January through May 2020.

During the reporting period, Turkmenistan exported 139,927 pieces of men's textile clothing to Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia, which is 4.5 times more than in the same period last year.

The value of exported men's textile clothing amounted to $867,792, which is 5.7 times compared to the amount of the same period last year.
