BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 2

By Jeila Aliyeva - Trend:

Turkmen Kici Gala company exported a large volume of polypropylene products, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

Kici Gala has exported 11 tons of non-woven fabric and 831,120 plastic coils to Uzbekistan, as well as more than 3 million bags to Kazakhstan since the beginning of this year.

The company has been doing exports since 2015. Last year, the company exported polypropylene and plastic bags to Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

In particular, earlier Turkmenistan exported polypropylene to China as well, for the first time through the territory of Kazakhstan via the North-South railway corridor.

Turkmenistan increased the production of polypropylene by 40.5 percent, and polyethylene by 40 percent from January through July 2020, compared to the same period in 2019.

The physical volume of manufactured polypropylene was 71,100 tons, and polyethylene equaled 137,400 tons.

This growth in production was due to The Kiyanly Gas Chemical Complex in Turkmenistan’s Balkan region, the construction of which was carried out under a contract of Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas State Concern with a consortium of companies like Hyundai Engineering Go.Ltd, LG International Corp (Republic of Korea) and Toyo Engineering Corp (Japan).
