The sales of 74 Iranian industrial companies’ operating in the mining industry at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) increased by 95 percent in the sixth month of the current Iranian year (August 22-September 22, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to statistics, in total, the companies’ sales exceeded 263 trillion rials (about $6.26 billion) in the reporting month.
The sales of Mobarakeh Steel Company amounted to 55 trillion rials (about $1.3 billion) within the sixth month of current Iranian year, National Iranian Copper Industries Company - 42 trillion rials (about $1 billion), Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company - 21 trillion rials (about $500 million), Khouzestan Steel Company - 18 trillion rials (about $428 million) and Esfahan Steel Company - 15 trillion rials (about $357 million).
“In addition, there was an increase of 77 percent in the Iranian Aluminum Company, 62 percent in the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, 65 percent in the Kaveh Steel Company, 59 percent in the Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, 41 percent in the Khouzestan Steel Company and 38 percent in Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company,” the statistics said.
According to the statistics, the sales of Iranian industrial and mining companies exceeded 1.2 quadrillion rials (about $28.5 billion) during the first six months of current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020). This is an increase compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The most amount of sales in six months was made by Mobarakeh Steel Company. Thus, the value of sales amounted 273 trillion rials (about $6.5 billion), the statistics said.
According to the statistics, the value of sales of National Iranian Copper Industries Company amounted 160 trillion rials (about $3.8 billion) in six months, the Khouzestan Steel Company - 110 trillion rials (about $2.61 billion) and the Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company - 100 trillion rials (about $2.38 billion).
