Georgia's Adjara Group plans to export almond milk and almond flour, Trend reports via Georgian media.
As Valeri Chekheria, the chairman of the Board of Directors said, a small crop of almond orchards cultivated in the village Udabno of the region of Kakheti, has already been harvested.
"We will get the full crop of almond orchards which are cultivated on 3,000 hectares of the territory, in two years. We are not going to export almonds. Whereas the demand is high for the product in European countries, we plan to export almond milk and almond flour," defined Chekheria.
According to him, the negotiations with export markets are already underway.
