Uzbekistan, Pakistan discussed issues on increasing the supply of Uzbek products to the Pakistani market, in particular, chemical and textile products, vegetables and fruits, Trend reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov and President of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan, member of the board of the Uzbek-Pakistani Business Council Sayed Khalid Amir Jafferi discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
The parties discussed the possibilities of further strengthening the partnership in trade, economic, investment, logistics, cultural and humanitarian fields.
It was emphasized at the meeting that due to the consistent efforts of both sides, Uzbek-Pakistani relations reached a new level of development in almost all directions.
The parties spoke in favor of giving new dynamics to the activities of the Uzbek-Pakistani Business Council and expressed readiness to provide mutual assistance in the creation of dealer and distribution offices of Uzbek companies in Pakistan and Pakistani companies in Uzbekistan.
