The Central Bank of Iran is expected to announce new regulation regarding the return of foreign currency earned from export of Iran's products, said the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Abdolnasser Hemmati, Trend reports via IRNA.

"It is expected that the new regulation would be announced in the coming days to hasten the process of returning export's foreign currency revenue to the country and help import of basic material for factories," said Hemmati.

"Importers could use the returned foreign currency revenue to imports, but they should register the turnover and declare it to the Central Bank of Iran and the online trade system," he said.

"The Central Bank of Iran would provide services to exporters, tradesmen and importers, based on returned foreign currency revenue," he said.

"It has been approved that necessary items that are held at customs, would be released and the Central Bank of Iran is to issue permits for importers," he said.
