Iranian industrial and mining companies boost their sales

The sales of 74 Iranian industrial companies’ operating in the mining industry at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) increased by 37 percent during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 20-October 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

According to statistics, in total, the companies’ sales at IME amounted to 1.5 quadrillion rials (about $35.6 billion) within the reporting period.

“The sales of Mobarakeh Steel Company amounted to 340 trillion rials (about $8.09 billion) in the seven months of the current Iranian year, National Iranian Copper Industries Company - 194 trillion rials (about $4.62 billion), the statistics said

Furthermore, the sales of Khouzestan Steel Company amounted to 151 trillion rials (about $3.59 billion) over the same period, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company - 122 trillion rials (about $2.9 billion) and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company - 100 trillion rials (about $2.38 billion), the statistics added.

According to the statistics, the sales of Esfahan Steel Company amounted to 94 trillion rials (about $2.24 billion) during 7 months, South Kaveh Steel Company - 55 trillion rials (about $1.3 billion), Hormozgan Steel Company - 53 trillion rials (about $1.26 billion).

At the same time, the sales of Khorasan Steel Company amounted to 37 trillion rials (about $880 million) within this period, and Iranian Aluminium Company - 35 trillion rials (about $833 million).
