Georgia talks subsidies for agricultural landowners

As of November 6, within the framework of the Georgian state program for stimulating agricultural landowners, charges for agroforestry have already been issued to more than 169,000 farmers, Trend reports via the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture.

The amount of the accrued subsidy exceeds 29.5 million lari ($8.8 million), of which more than 23.4 million lari ($7.02 million) have already been cashed in specialized retail outlets.

The amount of the accrued subsidy from October 23 to the present has increased from 29.2 million lari ($8.7 million) to 29.5 million lari ($8.8 million).

Meanwhile, the agro credits are issued to farmers using agricultural cards as part of the agricultural anti-crisis plan "Caring for the village and farmers."

To receive a subsidy under the program, individuals and legal entities must own from 0.25 to 10 hectares of agricultural land registered in the state register.
